Welcome to the HOME OF SCHOOL SPORTS in the Western Province. This is your gateway to all codes of sport as practised within the boundaries of Western Province. This website stems from the idea of having a “one stop shop” where anyone can find information about what is happening within their respective codes of interest. For the codes it should serve to post registration forms, fixtures, results, news and pictures of what is happening within the code. The athletes must be able to see on a glance what the next fixture will be as well as to track their respective results as being provided by the code officials. So, in short, this website, will serve the needs of everyone affiliated to the WEPSSO family.
Please allow me to extend our thanks and appreciation to everyone, including our webmaster, Mr Morne Alberts and our very own Mr Kamaar (WEPSSO Executive member), for making this website a reality.
School sport within South-Africa is going through a transition stage. A lot of processes is underway that could potentially change the face of school sport as we know it. As the saying within the dis-abled family goes “nothing about us, without us”. So in this context, my wish and I know that all at WEPSSO shares the same sentiments is that sport be the winner. Our primary stakeholder is and will always be the athletes.
In closing, enjoy the “window to school sport” that we have created for you. The next few months will see this site going through a series of transformations. So keep watching this space.
